1) Setup AZURE for a SQL database to receive data from an outside source (CostPoint Cloud SaaS). 2) Modify the webrequest email code (attached C#) to work from AZURE or Office 365 to send out emails. 3) Modify the CTALS email code (attached VBA) to work from AZURE or Office 365 to send out emails. 4) Test connections I wrote the original VBA CTALS code and highlighted the section that needs code change. This uses CDO MS schemas to configure and communicate with EXCHANGE. He wrote the C# webrequest code similar to mine. I also highlighted that code section that would need modification. Both work very similar in that they search and replace text within a template and use other database information for the address and text data. The code is fairly simple to read and figure out how that is done. Note: Both the CTALS and Webserver are currently onsite and communicate locally with EXCHANGE.

I think this should be fairly easy, I work on similar project at work, but I have a few questions, so please send me a message if you are interested in my offer. Here goes the questions: 1) Do you have azure subscription already or you need to create one? 2) To connect to Azure SQL database, you need to allow the IP address you are connecting from and I have no experience with costPoint, but if you can provide the IP adress, the communication can the be done on standart 1433 MS SQL port. 3) You really should use SendGrid when sending emails in Azure, it has really simple implementation, have you considered this? 4) How do you plan to run your code in azure - in a website, or maybe a cloud service..?
