Cmos camera with FPGA

Hi guy, with DE2 kit, i think i can speed up fps for you, but when we use ethernet port, do you agree use IP mac controller of Altera? If yes, i think i can fit this project with you. Thanks vu

Hi, What do you want to do more precisely?From what I have understood you would like a Verilog code that can acquire 5MP images and 70 fps and send it over the ethernet. I have worked with Cyclone II FPGAs to develop a custom FPGA based for a robotics hand at the university of Bologna called UBHand IV. In the board, a Cyclone II FPGA was soldered. Within the FPGA were developed PWM modules, SPI Modules, Encoders Modules, PID Controllers and a EPP Module. I can program the FPGA both writing by hands the coder or using the HDL coder from MATLAB Simulink. Can this be of interest for you? Let me know if you are interested. Cheers Ugo Fabrizi

Hi, I have worked on altera FPGAs for more than 10 years now, also I have worked on many boards from Terasic as well. I am also very familiar with Altera's TSE, which is supposed to be used in your system. I would need some information about how you want to send image packets over ethernet as this depends on the other end how you are going to receive this packets (i.e. UDP, IP, custom protocol).
