Hello,we are interested in communicating with variable customers through [login to view URL] we need a program to install in order to call automatically possible customers through Asterisk and if they want to contact us to press a number when they hear our recorded [login to view URL], we only want this program to use a list of numbers and names in excel form, that we will have ready in our computer, call them directly and hear our recorded [login to view URL] provide a phone machine( Cisco model:SPA501G) and Ubuntu and Windows software that we can boot from the same computer.
Actually, the only thing that we will do is to load the excel file and the program shows us who is calling in our screen and to continue to calls without asking from us the permission to call the next number in our list if the first number doesn't answer or is [login to view URL] will play the recorded message and will wait to see if the customer presses any button to contact with us.
My proposal is simple and scaleable.
I would install vicidial on your Linux machine. I would recommend using their openSuSE12.3 distribution with all the prerequisites/dependencies preinstalled. However Vicidial can be installed on Ubuntu if changing the distribution is not an option.
As for the excel document I am a VB .net programmer. I would either write a program similar to others I have written to take the excel spreadsheet and export it into Vicidial's lead database.
Vicidial can match incoming calls to the database and process calls based on customer responses to prompts. It can call place calls and either send them to a live agent or play a message and wait for a response.
Agent interaction is done via web browser and obviously sip/iax phones.
I would need to know the scope of how many users will be using the system as well as how many calls you will be placing. Vicidial supports clustering servers to support over 400 agents inbound or about 120-200 agents doing outbound calling.
$250 would entail basic system setup for 5-10 users.
