BHO for price comparison - copy of existing chrome extension

I have an existing Chrome extension, which I can provide as a reference. I'm looking at porting this to IE as a BHO. It uses Websockets to connect to server and send data about current user URL and uses JSON response from server to display results on the screen. Should be fairly easy for someone who has BHO experience.
