I'm looking to create a website except I don't have the skills to design it. I have a website programmer lined up but I'm not fond of his designs however he said if he has a template or pretty much a designed page he can work with that to create other pages and make the page function live online. I'm looking for someone to simply create a home page design for me which is compatible with the Adobe programs like Illustrator and Photoshop. I need each piece of the home page design on its own layer so my website programmer can take those pieces apart when he puts the website together and to move things around for different pages. The website theme and layout should look similar to that of many of the major websites (I will give more detailed info about certain websites i'd like mine to emanate later. where there is plenty of links to click on, spaces for advertising, small sections for some paragraphs with images and headings above and a link below, laid out so that there each main section of the website is clear in this order, header, middle section and footer. All the webpage content will fit into an area of 1000px width maximum and no specified length although I don't want the home page to be too long. The left and right sides of the website will have space for background images or ads. I have a logo designed for my business and need some aspects of the website's colors to match the logo. So to make a few things clear, I'm looking for a freelancer who is preferably in Canada or the US so if need be I can contact and communicate with the person easily.
I need to be able to add suggestions along the way so the successful designer will need to provide me with screenshots on progress of the work.
I'm leaning more towards the $30 being lowest to $80 being the highest price range considering it's just a raw home page design that can be opened in illustrator or photoshop depending on what the program the designer chooses or is more skilled using.
The page does not need to have any live functions for the web, no coding and no other page designs are necessary other than the home page.
