Carpool website

We are looking to design a website for our Carpool service. The website will basically match drivers with passengers. Passengers should be able to register and also verify their email and phone numbers. The other function will be to book a ride.

We are looking to design a website for our ride sharing service. The website will basically match drivers with passengers. Passengers should be able to register and also verify their email and phone numbers.
The other function will be to book a ride. Take a look at this website (http://stivademo.com/22/client/5033/index.php?controller=Rides). It is our failed attempt at the project. The basic design concept was adapted from Zimride (http://www.zimride.com/?mobile=false).
This website will be used to make it possible for different persons book a ride with a driver. Passengers will register and post their rides. This will include date, time, locations (from and to) and how often this passenger travels through this route - regularly or this is single trip. Drivers will be created and managed only by admin. Drivers will be assigned a route they will travel. Driver can stop at different locations to pick up different clients. Each driver will have a profile and admin will set what car(s) he drives. When admin matched driver with its passengers script will send SMS to driver and all clients. Clients will be able to login to their profile and post comment about the trip.

(a) A homepage with login box on the top right, with facebook, twitter and yahoo login api options (e.g. www.badoo.com).

(b) Slideshow on the left of the screen (e.g. www.badoo.com).
(c) Footer links (about us, terms & Condition etc)

The front end will include:
Customer sign up and login. There will be logins with social networks. Users will be required to verify phone and email to complete registration.

In the booking page, when a ride is posted we see that there is integration with Google Maps. It looks for the address and shows it on a map next to the address fields.

On the BACKEND, we need the following:
1. User Management (Add User, View/Edit User profile, View User Rides)
2. Driver Management, (Add Driver, View/Edit Driver profile, View Driver Rides, Driver Status, Complaints)
3. Vehicle Management (Add , View/Edit Vehicles, View User Rides)
4. Booking Management (Match and Dispatch to driver/user[via sms/email] Job Status
