C# Internals Programmer - Fix Thread Pool Stability Issue

SMART THREAD POOL is a windows thread pool management software enabling control over processes within a multi-threaded environment. The software appears to become unstable as the load increases - threads stop responding to controller; cpu increases, memory increases. If less threads are initiated, the problem typically will not occur. This initiative will utilize a code sample that replicates the problem - the smaller the thread pool, the less likely the problem will occur. The objective is to validate and repair the code. We have discussed this issue with the developer of the code but they are not willing to pursue this issue as a bug fix. You will be provided with: 1- the code that is capable of reproducing the problem 2 - notes related to failed attempts at fixing or working around the problem 3 - Access to a senior C# developer responsible for maintaining the entire solution that contains Smart Thread Pool code. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No 3rd party components unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). The deliverables for the project will be: 1- to demonstrate the ability to replicate the issue 2- working modified code free of the described defect 3 - demonstrate the issue being fixed by running the modified code using the provided sample with 500 threads. 4 - Documented changes *** Alternatives to the solution may be submitted.
