International IT Consultancy Start-Up Tax Advice This is a complex assignment, please do not respond unless you have clear & verifiable evidence of the experience and training for this task We have companies in UK, UAE, India & Australia. Our customers are all over the world. We need to decide where to locate the "Top Co" - i.e. choose one of our companies to become the Holdings Company. UAE & UK are the 2 strongest candidates. (The UAE company is within the JLT Free Zone). Our aim is to minimise our tax leakage particularly Withholding tax as we move money between our companies. We also want opinion on how best to contract with our customers - which of our companies is the best vehicle to trade with which customer (country). We anticipate using transfer pricing and management charges to generate the bulk of the profits in the chosen Top Co We are not interested in overly clever or “dodgy” schemes, just sensible practices to minimise our tax and allow us to move working capital around the group.
