Senior Android App Developer

Hi There: Who we are, what we are looking for, and what we have so far: -We are building/designing a revolutionary world class car navigation app. The build quality, attention to detail, and functionality requirements will be held to the highest standards and will be scrutinized as such. Only perfectly functioning clean and organized code will be accepted!! -Your job will be to integrate All functionality and design features, this job requires an Exceptionally High Level of proficiency developing mapping services and API integration utilizing the Android SDK. -Only the highest proficiency candidates will be considered. -We are using Mapbox as the mapping service. [login to view URL] -We are using OSM (Open Street Maps) www.openstreetmap.org/#map=3/71.34/-96.82 -The code completed so far has been written in Kotlin, Java ports are also acceptable moving forward but we prefer to continue utilizing Kotlin. -We have the entire Storyboard and Designs completed and ready for integration. I can provide you with examples of our Designs. Questions / Requirements: -Immediate and full time availability is a pre-requisite. This project is on a tight timetable and thus requires full time ++ attention, no other third party ongoing projects allowed while working to minimize distractions. -How comfortable are you working with a mapping and navigation application, building out and integrating the UI (Designs / Storyboard provided by us), and integrating mapping, Geo-location features such as Tracking, Routes/Routing, Navigation Integration, Search, POI, and Uber style Simultaneous Live tracking/display of multiple users/devices etc... -Have you ever worked with the Mapbox SDK and API's, if so how extensive. -Have you ever worked with OSM -Have you ever worked with Kotlin for Android -Aside from seeing your work history, we would require code samples to confirm abilities. -Video Face to Face chat is a pre-requisite before contract award. -Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must! -Must be available to work in our Time Zone (EST.
