pupil dilating device

I'm an inventor of a device that would be used to dilate the pupil of the eye. I have drawings of the device and wish to animate the process so it's clearer. Picture a slinky being pulled straight but instead of a slinky a single loop speculum is made of a flexible thread or suture. Pulling on the suture from either end will straighten the loop or speculum. The suture has a needle attached to it. The needle is used to penetrate the cornea The needle enters and exits the cornea leaving the loop part of the thread inside the front chamber of the eye (anterior chamber). A small hook is placed through a small incision distal to the loop and used to position the loop under the iris. Once the loop is in place the suture is pulled up to stretch the pupil. The suture is then tied on the surface of the eye. The resistance to going through the cornea would straighten the speculum. Once the speculum part of the suture is in the anterior chamber, the speculum configuration resumes it's shape. Think slinky resuming it's shape after being under traction, then when it isn't under traction it "springs" back to it's original configuration. The pulling on the suture on both ends draws up the speculum toward the limbus. When the loop is under the pupil it maintains contact with the pupil as the suture is pulled up and secured. The resistance to holding the pupil in dilated position is not sufficient to straighten the speculum.
