Business process description
The International Marketing & Commerce Student Hotel has recently opened a web page in which students can book a hotel room.
The sales department of the hotel is responsible for the sales and availability of the rooms and the correct registration of bookings. They handle all contacts with the customers.
The sales department maintains customer data, they can add and update customers, they can only delete a customer if this customer did not register any bookings yet. For each customer they register the name, address, e-mail address and phone number. The sales department also maintains data on hotel rooms. There are two room types: luxurious and comfort. The hotel has five luxurious rooms: room numbers 1,2,3,4,5 and five comfort rooms: room numbers 6,7,8,9 and 10.
The rate of the room is registered per room type; luxurious € 80 and comfort € 60. However, the sales department needs to be able to overrule the standard rate with a discount rate in special circumstances – this special discount rate is only valid for one booking. They need a report that shows all bookings for which a discount rate was used.
The sales department need to be able to check the availability of rooms, and to make a booking for a room. A room can only be booked if the room is available, i.e. not booked for another customer. For each booking the sales department registers for which customer the booking is made, which room is booked, the start-date and the end-date. When a customer books a room but is not sure how long he/she wants to stay the end-date may be left blank, that means that the room is not available. The sales department can update an empty end-date and enter an end-date.
The sales department needs to be able to print an invoice for a booking, with customer details, the number of nights, the room rate (the original rate, or, if applicable the discount rate) and the total amount
Each day the sales department needs a report that shows which rooms are empty, to allow for extra cleaning.

I can make it so it can be use in Multi-user environment (Many user can work simultaneously from different computer) with log-in dialog, search, filter and save the filter features using Microsoft Access with Access Reports.
I offer you access application with very user friendly forms having functionalities like auto filling easy data selection through dropdowns, Search data, Validation rules, Filter some data then save the filter with a name so you don't need to filter for future use.
The user interface structure of the application will be such that there will be a single Home form and all the other forms can be loaded on this main Home form through button clicks to access their functionalities.
