I am maintaining an old legacy system in VB6. I am experiencing repeated crashing caused by an external ActiveX component to which I do not have code. I have very little knowledge in debugging. I need someone to connect to my station using TeamViewer and help me debug this issue.

Dear Sir, Please give more detail about the activeX component and how exactly you used them. If possible, the problem can be recreate in my computer so we don't have to use the teamviewer. I'll take a look at the problem and see if i can do something about it. Thank you.

Hi The ActiveX component you are using, is it from a reputed third party? Do we have documentations available for this? Are you facing issues on certain OS only, like Win 7? This looks to be a risky project, I am a VB expert, but cant commit the success of this project as this is some thing to deal with where we do not have the source code. How ever I can take a look and see if there is some problem with your VB6 code. As I mentioned above, I am committing to try on this, I am not committing to fix this problem. If you award, then I will first check on the issue, and accept the project only if I can complete this. Would you like to share some more info on the ActiveX and the error you are facing, this will help me to place the bid more accurately. Thanks Roni
