I'm a very well experienced industrial engineer in Spain specialist in control systems and I have dedicated 15 years of my life in PLC & SCADA systems (also DCS). Several years in Siemens systems from S7-200/300/400 some years ago to S7-1200/1500 nowadays, and from ProTool to WinCC or WinCC Flexible. I've been working most of the time online because it was impossible to stop the automated machines, sometimes myself at the factory, sometimes remotely. If I had to define myself, I'd say I'm a systems integrator, because I've been in projects where I had to communicate PLCs, machines, PC (high level programming), etc. And mostly in realtime and systems running continuously (we say here 24x7).
