This project is about a pricing database that my company already had, which includes the cost price that we obtain and also the market prices from differing source (as we are a retailer, and wholesaling business model still works in our region hence price sensitivity is important). With that model, we also resell to partners at a mark-up hence we already build separately a XLSM file that are able to connect on differing department, from Partner Management (person who takes order from buyers), Packing (team that packs the items), Finance (who issued out Costing of the products to Management (who review and produce invoice). The XLSM is semi-auto, ie each team are able to send email from a click of a button, and invoice can be generated from a click of a button as well through VB. However, the two files are on separate location Pricing DB is on GSheet, while the Order-Invoice form are on Excel. You can review and propose a solutions either in web-based system, basic DB system either through a new environment (ie our own portal or host), Excel, Google Sheet or any that's the fastest and leanest for this system to work. Hi, I went through the project description. As I understand you have pricing database on Google Sheet while your order invoicing form is using Macro enables Excel file. The various stakeholders in this entire journey are Partner management, Packing, Finance. I propose to merge two different system and bring them onto single platform with usage of G Suite i.e Google sheets, Gmail, Google drive . The various interactions can be automated with usage of Google scripting. Please suggest time when you can be available for further discussions on this with a possible walk through of existing system. The application can be accessed from anywhere/ any device (desktop, laptop, mobile etc) with authorised persons and do that task. Hello, I must say that you have described the scope of the project well enough. I think you should go for a web-based business solution which will have a user-management system(i.e, different group of users will have different permissions of tables in Database), inventory management (will manage the tables in a Database) and will generate reports as required. The scope of the project clearly shows, that if you go for a web-based system, your business will be benefited. And as far as I understand, this project has a good amount of work and a web-based solution can cost more than $2000. As I don't have a portfolio here to show you, I'm not bidding this project with the hope to get it. As I have some free time in this lockdown, I'm trying to go through project requirements and propose a solution to the projects I understand. Ideally I would suggesting a web base application that can work through your organisation . Application may include options to upload excel files to DB when it comes update bulk product details , pricing , backlog and customer details. The same information can update through the application manually by the respective department employee . I can create few modules for the application including the departments that you have mentioned in your request as well as administration module that can create users and their rights. document generation including invoices and product costing details , customer details , reports can be generated in Excel, PDF(prefers) ,world(doc or docx) formats or GDocs.
