Old World Fountains, Inc. is looking to develop a high-end/elegant website, to intrigue buyers to purchase & browse their hand-crafted outdoor fountains. These stone fountains themselves can range in price from $3,000 to $9,000. The site will be frequented by upper class homeowners and buyers, etc. Maximum Project Budget: $750 USD Design Criteria The site is to be designed after [login to view URL] & Must include the following features: •Splash page, Enter FLASH or HTML version. The selected bidder will create both the flash and HTML versions of the site. •The site must maintain a classy look. Think about the clientele that visits rolex.com. A rolex is not just watch, it’s a rolex. That is the idea we want to present. This isn’t just a fountain, it’s an Old World fountain. That is where the inception of the design should start. •The shopping cart* shall include shipping estimates (pricing chart to be provided) •A contact page form that sends an email to a specified account. •Every page must contain some sort of animated content. similar to [login to view URL]’s panning/scrolling/fade in/fade out/a sort of videography of images.) •On the detail of the product, visitors should be able to zoom in to key features of a fountain. i.e. the face of a sculpted figure, the water spout, architectural details, etc. Product Dimensions/Drawing and an image gallery of actual installations with the fountain. We were thinking the image could be broken down into a 5x5 or 6x6 grid that is zoom-able per section. •A place on all pages for email collection, i.e. enter your email here to win a free fountain etc. •Customer login area for exclusive discounted pricing. •The domain will obtain an SSL certificate for credit card processing, prior to launch. •The site should be designed to present 5-8 fountains. NOTE: * The site SHOULD NOT parallel common perceptions of shopping websites. But rather, offer a unique buying experience. Common terms like “view cart” and “add to cart” should be re-thought. * A logo and Images of the fountains will be provided at 300 dpi or more. Project completion: Mid-August 2007
