CREATIVE CHILDRENS BOOK ILLUSTRATOR

CREATIVE, COLOURFUL CHILDREN’S BOOK ILLUSTRATOR. My book is about an alien rabbit, teaching children about humanity. It is about happiness, love and kindness, which I want to reflect in the pictures. Size 9x7 Landscape. Picture on 1 page and text on the other. Image can bleed into text page. I am happy to provide copy of book if you can meet below and can do a sample. Please reply if you are able to and can provide examples. Here are my initial thoughts. PICTURES needed: approx. 9. Front cover, back cover, title page with illustration of rabbit in buddha pose Book cover-. I was thinking maybe have the background like a galaxy colour effect, and small gold glitter hearts are to have floating. And from the top half of the cover, have the main rabbit hanging upside down so you only see shoulders and head. The ears can flop down and become intertwined with the letter t't's in the Little. The title can be either silver or gold. Title- Little Mis-Fit. Instead of the dot over the i's, I was thinking of having a space helmet with a rabbit face in it inside page - the rabbit sitting on a cloud mediating and glitter raindrops falling around it - ears flopping to the end of the page. The image doesn't need to be big - my acknowledgements are going on there Haven’t decided on back page and open to ideas. Text pages to have like a sprinkle of gold glitter dust page 1- fun, cheerful alien hq, pg2- the other aliens- could be like looking in a giant mirror with hatched eggs in the background, page 3- Little Mis-Fit, pg 4 alien's going down fountain whilst Little Mis-Fit tries to get in her egg, pg 5- aliens hugging Little Mis-Fit and hearts glowing, pg 6- family holding hands with kisses, or love floating etc. And maybe two illustrations at the end page corners of Little MisFit having fun. Inside pages are also open to ideas. ADDITIONAL: 1. If you can design fonts and insert the text will be great 2. Images need to be unique and create a soft, warm feeling.
