Our company makes unique directional maps for the movie industry that contain supplemental data specifically requested by our clients that match their specific specifications. We would like to create a template & data base that can produce a finished product that can change a map from a template file to a new finished map via auto import/update/etc. The project involves the creation of a several dynamic MS Visio templates designed to import data from an external data template, like excel. Attached are several examples of finished maps along with the source files. Our goal is to build data rich templates we can use to auto fill information via data import & data linking. Project Specs: 1) Coding shape data 2) Creating custom icons w/Dropdown menue to match map type 3) Organizing shapes to match data base 4) Eliminate need for most ext fields and replace with dynamic import data
