We have a .NET website where the user can edit his local business listing in the backend (Change phone, add offers etc.) Think of it as editing an eBay listing: I can make any changes I want to the listing in the "Edit Listing" page but if I don't click on "Save" at the bottom of the page or if I click the "Cancel" button, ALL changes must be lost. That is not how our UI works however. If you check this video you will see it doesn't save some changes but it saves others even if I click on Cancel Changes at the bottom which is obviously wrong: [login to view URL] So our "Edit Listing" page must work in the same manner and actually not make any changes to the listing unless the "Save" button is clicked at the bottom. And if I refresh the page or click on the "Cancel" button, all changes must be lost. What a developer told me that needs to be done is: Edit functionality with ajax in existing razor mvc page, in order to handle separate save actions within the same post page. If you have a different way in mind, we are open to discussion. Just to make it clear, your solution must obviously not cause other problems to the website and payment will only be released after reviewing and testing of the pushed changes by other .NET developer. If we cooperate successfully there will be more .NET work for you in the future.

I think the current way is just deleting things from front end as well as from the database as well, What I propose as a solution is we should remove things from front end and if user hits "Save" button only then we should proceed on the deletion from database and file system. if he cancel we should simply ignore the changes. Hello, based on the attached video I see that adding/removing images is done with ajax but you backend doesn't verify the ajax action.
