I need help building a prototype of an indie arcade browser-based video game. I want to hire a coder for a couple of hours each week for 6 months. 50hrs of coding. My max budget is NZ$350 - paid weekly; milestones through freelancer. I can share the design document if you are interested. this is a weekend project 2hrs/wk for 6 months. 50hrs of coding and I'm hoping to get two player modes with 2 levels each. Just a working prototype that I can further develop myself. The goal is to have a game demo that shows how the concept works. I can provide a design brief to freelancers who are interested. It is set in space and in high school. 8bitmmo meets Hell's Kitchen DS meets Phantasy Star/Cosmic Spacehead I am doing this project in my spare time and the game will be a free feature for vip members of my social website. I don't need graphics, animation, audio - just programming.

Have you tried Construct 2? it is a web HTML5 Game maker, very suitable and easy to use once you learn to use it. i build my games with that engine, i can build your game and give you the source code so you can pick up from there and continue your journey. let me know what you think
