Looks to me like they didn't specify the version of certain dependencies in the Dockerfile. In that case automatically the latest version of a package gets installed. That way the Dockerfile might have worked back when they wrote it, but meanwhile the "latest" package has changed and it doesn't work anymore. I'd be happy to take a look!
