Joomla/JCalPro Web Site Revisions

Required knowledge: Joomla, JCalPro I need some modifications to my existing Web site which uses a Joomla template (Joomla 1.5.20) and JCalPro, version 2.2.11.557. I have a related domain which currently redirects to the production site but should be changed not to redirect and used as a stand-alone test site during this project. At the end, it will need to be changed back to redirect. You can have access to my Host Gator account to do so. Major deliverables: 1. I need a new tab/page added and the slide show currently used on the home page moved to this new page so that I can use the space on the home page for text. 2. I need a zip code radius search created and installed on the home page. To my knowledge, a radius search program does not currently exist for JCalPro. The user should be able to enter a zip code and distance (in a drop box, i.e., 10 miles, 25, 50, 100, 250) desired. A new search button should then search all events and display those that meet the entered criteria—on a new page or with limited results on same page and a link to a new page. 3. The RSS feeds within this version of JCalPro do not work correctly. I need the RSS feed to display/send whenever a new or copied event is added to the calendar by the admin – not based on the event date or any other weird happening that seems to trigger the RSS feed now. 4. The “View Full Calendar´ link within JCal Pro should default to the list view, not the monthly view, which it currently does. Other versions of JCalPro seem to provide this default, but this version does not. 4. The final installation of code cannot take the production site down for more than an hour unless it is done after midnight. Brief daily status reports are expected once project starts. Failure to send status reports may result in project cancellation. In your bid please include: • Examples of what projects you've worked on. This MUST include samples of Joomla and JCalPro sites. • Estimated completion time - must be accurate. I am not looking for a rush job, but I do want an accurate time table. • Summarize the steps you will take to complete. • Explain how you will accomplish the radius search (and your experience in doing so) as well as the RSS feed. I am looking for someone who has experience in creating/installing both of these within JCalPro.
