I have worked on Ansible part of a fun project just to learn about it, and yes if you use sudo it's a bit different but manageable. Ansible uses Paramiko in the background which is a python library and I am good at python. I have utilities that can manage servers behind NAT firewalls through ssh using Paramiko and I guess Ansible isn't a big deal for me :)
