As a part of my final year project, I have to use MATLAB/App Designer to build and app for an electric vehicle charging controller. I have a structure diagram for my controller, i've never used MATLAB and am not sure how to write this code or make an app for it in MATLAB app designer. The controller, collects the Power requests for charging Electric Vehicles every 15 minutes. If the transformer capacity of 500 KVA is not exceeded, then the controller can proceed with charging. The controller will try to satisfy all charging requirements of the EV users who come to the EV charging station. The scenario for my project is, 200 car park spaces are available. We assume early bird customers come early in the morning and plan to stay parked and charging for a long period while they are at work. These can slow charge at 2.6KW. There will also be customers who come later and wont stay for a long period, these cars can be charged at 7.6KW if the transformer allows it. The priority of charging is always the users who were there earlier. I've attached my structure diagram. Hopefully it makes sense!

I am an electrical and computer engineer, I do now my Msc in electrical engineering using App designer, My Msc thesis is in load management over transformer using smart meters, I think I can help you because I have now good experience in app designer, I have a question you use KVA in transformer and Kw in cars, so what is the expected power factor for you?, can one vehicle have 3 requests because you have Preq, or you mean by that the time to stay is depends on requests such that 4 requests means 4 hours, or you mean it is 2.6 for some cars and 7.6 for other cars, what is the difference between Preq and summation of Preq because you have a condiyion in Preq and another condition on the summation of Preq
