We have about 500000 words that need to be translated.
We have a Chinese Christian book, and have a translated English version. Now we want it translated from Chinese or English into French. The book mainly talks about how God saves man, how Satan corrupts mankind, what man should do in order to gain God’s salvation, and so on. The content is extensive and meaningful. We aim at achieving a best quality of translation for each language, something like the Bible, so that it can be world-widely used. Thus, we are seeking the help of the global top translation company and hope that the company can build a most professional translation team skilled in CHRISTIAN TRANSLATION. It would be best if the company can build a translation team experienced in Bible translation. Also, we need someone who are versed in proofreading to help. Our requirement:
1. The translator or proofreader is supposed to be a native of the target language, can understand well the source text(English or Chinese), and is versed in translating or proofreading Bible or Christian materials.
(1) Please note us whether the translator or proofreader grew up in the country using the target language as his mother language.
(2) It will work for us if the translators or proofreader do not work in the same geographical area.
(3) Those who are versed in Bible translation are the first choice for our project; those who are versed in Christian translation are also suitable for our project.
2. The book should be translated into standard, world-widely used target language, and ready to be published in newspaper, as a book, or distributed through other medias. There should be no spelling mistakes, no grammar mistakes, no punctuation mark mistakes.
3. Accuracy. The translation should be faithful to the source language(Chinese or English).
