Hi I am a database expert with 12 years experience in handling MS SQL and MySQL databases. I have worked as DBA for large ERP databases and use to write and do performance tuning for SQL queries, procedures and triggers. I have gone through the document but not understood the below line. "I have more than 100 columns. Consider this in the trigger. Use a global function to store the fieldname" Did you meant the field names will be dynamic? Is both the tables not defined initially with correct number of columns? Using dynamic field names with in the trigger can be a bit complex. Or did you meant the column names will be fixed like PropertyString01, PropertyString02,...PropertyString100? We might need three tirggers - one Insert trigge, one update trigger (both Before and Update evens can be coded in a single after update trigger) and a delete trigger. Look forward to hear from you.
