Easiest solution: Cloud Tasks runs a Pub/Sub trigger on a Firebase Cloud Function each minute. As long as the create time is in the top level object of the Firestone doc, lookups should be a breeze. Shoot me a message if you need me to implement this, but you could probably do it yourself.
