Application Desc. This circuit is for an IoT device running on 3.3/5 v (.5 A nin). Our aim is to use same PCB but set the FB resistor accordingly (R1 and R2). Power to this PCB will be supplied from a LiPo 3.7v battery (1 or 2). Input Voltage - 2.7 to 4.2 (Single Battery) / 5.2 to 8.4 (Dual Battery) Output Voltage: 3.3 / 5 Tasks: Confirm PM IC Part No. Confirm R1/R2 values for both (3.3/5v) Confirm/Changes that PCB layout is consistent with IC lay out guide lines. Confirm Inductor/Cap values for both (3.3/5v)

Your inductor and output capacitor selection will not work for all of the combinations of input and output voltages you have listed. Don't take TI's recommendations as gospel as many of their application examples are done by third parties and TI does not warrant their accuracy or completeness. Your layout looks nice but you have exceeded many of JLCPCB's fabrication capabilities and have made a few serious layout mistakes. Switch mode power supply design seems simple but layout is very critical. In a boost or buck-boost design you can have switch currents many times the output current circulating around the board at very high frequencies. If your output current is near 2A and with an input of 2.7V and an output of 5V you could have currents as high as 4.6A through the IC and inductor. Hi there What I have understand with your job description is that you want me to design a power management circuit and PCB for an IoT device. The circuit should be capable of providing minimum 500mA current with single/dual Li-ion batttery. I am confident to make such circuit for your project. I think I can make 3.3V and 5V supply with single Li-ion battery using buck-boost coverter. Using a dual Li-ion battery has not much benifits in this project.
