Biometic Fingerprint Project

We are trying to develop a bio-thumbprint system for one of our client. We will have to supply 10-20 sets of thumbprint readers to my client retail channel. My client CRM and POS is using our online php script. Which means there are using internet explorer to handle their business right now. All the retail channels are using microsoft winxp and above. The server is a linux server, all the business and database information is inside this box. Our idea is to write a software in VB or JAVA or .NET or whatever, install it in every retail channel PC, upon receive instruction to captures the customer thumbprint, convert it to a unique code, send the code from the software to the browser to our linux server PHP script url (which calls to MySQL as database and do some verify and pulling of data). The rest of the part we will do it. The upgrading will cause our clients customers no need to type in username and password everytime the client wishes to check for their data or proceed some sensitive information updating. Now, i need you to suggest me a company to work with, to buy their reader and SDK. I will pay for all such expenses, you will only do the coding for me. Above is only one of my idea, if you have better idea for browser intergation, please do suggest. Security and smooth operation flow is important to me too, i would also like to hear from you.
