Web Site Design w/ BBS +

I am quoting the first Phase of a website with a few back-end components. I have enclosed three documents that describe the project. The MSWord specification describes most of the structure, yet requires many details such as content. The JPEGs show the basic screens. The PDF shows the overview of this site as a network of sites. Becuase all the details have not been completed, this Phase I design will be for the beta site. Once it has been completed, I will review the architecture with our business partner and come back to quote the remaining components of the site. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform I have registered [login to view URL] on Godaddy.com. In addition to the web programming, I would like a recommendation on: 1) whether to host on [login to view URL] or on my company's W2K servers on www.rackspace.com. 2) I am planning to use the ubbclassic BBS. ([login to view URL]) 3) I will be using <[login to view URL]> to administer surveys on the site. 4) Members of the site will be submitting XML documents into the site's database. This dbase will be accessed by the Company's desktop applications. Therefore, the database must be coded to 1) support access from a .NET standalone application and 2) support data from the survey software. Please advise with any questions you have.
