A simple HTML/PHP and CSS webpage that will resize all the uploaded images from a specific folder, display as thumbnails which, when clicked, open to full size and display the filename as a title in a white border under the picture.
## Deliverables
We anticipate the following files [login to view URL] which displays the images, [login to view URL] which controls how the images are displayed, gallery_login, gallery_upload and gallery_config.
We will assign usernames and passwords to those authorised to access the gallery so a database may not be necessary. If you choose to implement a database please use MySQL v4
The server is Unix and has version 6.0.7 of ImageMagick.
Users should be able to upload one or more images at the same time and an accurate progress bar visible. As they are being uploaded they should be reduced (if necessary) to 700 pixels high with thumbnails generated at 150 pixels high.
The config and css should be annotated in order to give us full control over how the images are displayed on the webpage.
This gallery will be deployed on several websites so if you plan to use a database please bear in mind that there will need to be separation between users and websites. If possible we would prefer not to use a database.
The coder must build the gallery on his/her own server and test thoroughly before inviting us to view.
On completion all files should be handed over for us to upload to our own server for final testing.
When you place your bid please include a estimate of how long you consider it will take you to complete and test the project. Testing should NOT be considered extra to the build time.
Thank you

The coder awarded this project failed to deliver and lost the arbitration so the project has been re-opened. Please confirm that you are still interested in working on the project and place a bid if you have not done so already. Kind regards Mike

There is an error in our specification which has been noticed by a coder and brought to my attention. The section: "Users should be able to upload one or more images at the same time and an accurate progress bar visible. As they are being uploaded they should be reduced (if necessary) to 700 pixels high with thumbnails generated at 150 pixels high." is wrong. I apologise - I have made an error. The maximum height of the thumbnails should be 100 pixels high - the width will differ according to the aspect ratio of the image but if they are all the same height they will line up nicely in rows. The maximum width of the full size images should be 700 pixels - the height will depend on the aspect ratio of the images. Cameras are generating images in all sorts of different aspect ratios these days and we need to ensure that the gallery will handle all types. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience. Mike
