enable this simple program to run in winxp

cannot get the program to run in winxp due to this error "Invalid root in registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Network\Logon\username"

Just modifiy the code so that this error disappears & enable to run in w2k & winxp

i've attached all the source code & the actual executable in this zip
