## Deliverables
I need a .net2 utility written in c# or vb.net that will do the following tasks
a) when run display a dialogue that asks for
[Exchange] [Outlook] radio buttons
Radio Buttons Group if exchange is checked then it will parse exchange - if Outlook is checked then it will look at the local uses Outlook folders
Look in - (shows a drop down box) drop downs are -
Inbox, Sent Items, All Folders, All Bar Deleted
Save emails to (shows a text box with a directory search select option) allows the users to search for a dir path
Save database to (shows a text box with a directory search select option) allows the users to search for a dir path and enter a file name for the database
Button for Go
Button for exit
display field for [EMAILS PARSED] shows number of emails looked at
display field for [EMAILS SAVED] shows how many emails have been saved
display field for [RECORDS WRITTEN] shows how many records have been written
If the Go button is pressed then the system will confirm that Look In - Save emails to - and save database to are valid paths and selections then it will
ask
Sure you want to continue?
If No then go's back to dialogue
If Yes then continues and
i) searches the area requested (in box, all mail folders and so on) looking for any emails where the subject contains "(DPS" or there is an a populated embedded field in the email called DPSID
(I will provide a sample email)
ii) if such an email is found then
the system will look at the email address sent to and any cc email addresses or bcc addresses and for EACH email address found it will write a record in the database
for EACH such email found it will save the email outside exchange in the directory specified in **Save emails to**
that is it!
the record written at this stage will be a CSV record that includes the follows
**email address**
**type** (1 it was to this address 2 it was cc'ed to this address 3 it was bcc'ed to this address)
**emailfile** (full path of the msg file that this record is attached to)
**subject** (subject of this email)
**datesent
**
**timesent**
**daterecieved
**
**timerecieved
**
**fromemail (email address of the sender)
