Word 2003 automation

This project will implement MS Word automation that streamlines the production of reports for the client end-user. The client has an extremely detailed specification for the style of their reports. This project will product VB or other code that streamlines and enforces the production of reports with the client's preferred look and feel. A top-level requirement for this project is that all functionality must be internationalized, and work in Word 2003 for the following languages/countries (All romance languages should be supported- we are not required to implement for non-romance languages, but a bonus is available for kanji/other langs if they are supported as well. Argentina Australia Belgium German Brazil Chile Chinese UK France Hungary India Indonesia Italian Japanese Korean Malaysia Mexico/Spanish Netherlands Poland Portugal Singapore South Africa/Afrikaans Swedish Thai Venezuela Vietnam Some, but not all, of the functionality required is listed below: 0) Read in company-wide metadata from a shared config file, preferably XML- this will include address, bank details, etc. 1) Present user with a form (inside Word) that allows them to fill in their personal contact details. Once entered by the user, this information must be saved in an XML file on the local disk for usage during document production. The form should also be able to be edited again, as details change. 2) Auto-create header and footer by prompting the user for content and inserting data from the form used in (1). 3) Auto-format text to conform to certain font and layout restrictions. 4) Auto-create template documents of several types (long report, short report, invoice, etc) using information provided by the user. 5) Provide user controls (buttons, menu items) to format bullets, paragraphs, image boxes. ... and more. Full requirements are available upon request. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
