PHP / MySQL Billing and support Interface

IMPORTANT NOTE This is a phased construction project, each phase being bid on seperately. Once we have attained the first stage with a coder, and the work of the coder has been satisfactory we will offer them first refusal on the next stage and so on. OVERVIEW This project is to create an ISP billing interface ('billing interface') that is capable of interfacing with other web-based software running MySQL databases. The first stage requires support for PLESK ([login to view URL]). The coding will be well commented in ENGLISH to allow alternative coders to continue work if required at a later date. The code will be modular to allow services and features to be added and removed without a complete or substantial rewrite being required. It should be noted here that PLESK have developed and are about to release an API to interface billing engines to the PLESK software so the coding aspect of this is not as great as it might have been. STAGE 1 The initial stage required will allow the administrator to track billing for clients by adding, removing and modifying charges to the clients existing under PLESK: 1) PHP & MySQL coded 2) Template driven 3) Access and display data from the PLESK MySQL databases (even on remote machines) 4) Modify and save data to the PLESK MySQL databases 5) Billing to be viewable online and also to be generated into PDF using the freely available PDF convertors for UNIX 6) The charges can be entered by the admin into a charge screen and then slected in a drop-down manner for each client e.g. we make a billing called web 'hosting' at $10, we can then view client Mr Jones and select 'hosting' from a drop-down menu and this will then apply to his account and be maintained via a CRON Job. 7) The option to assign custom charges will exist with an entry box to enter the name and an entry box to enter the price. 8) The currency symbol in use will be selectable via the templates for the interface i.e. $ or ?'? etc., etc. 9) VAT (tax) charges can be set in value and applied or not applied to billing by admin choice (at this stage only one tax value is required, that being the United Kingdom). SUMMARY In summary, this stage (STAGE 1) will create an intial interface that allows us to assign charges to clients, and create both e-mail and PDF invoices from this to be sent. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
