Development of two technically identical Wordpress websites.

Dear professionals, We are a copywriters and translation agency based in The Netherlands. From time to time we create online marketing expressions for clients, since we have the expertise in-house. Currently there are two designs that need to be developed in a Wordpress theme. Although these are two separate websites the lay-out is for 95% identical . This should cut development time to half, as a lot of code can be duplicated. Project scope Development of: - Homepage - Subpage - Gallery page - Contact page Functionality The only real functionality is the gallery page, which must feature projects that can be entered in the back-end as follows (or in a similar way) 1) Create new project 2) Upload images – max of 10 –per project- 3) Thumbnails are automatically created 4) Write short explanation for the project 5) Tag relevant categories, e.g. ‘indoor paintjob’, ‘outdoor paintjob’ In addition to featuring these projects on the gallery page, all subpages have the – not required – possibility to show two projects (title + thumbnail). So e.g. the subpage about ‘indoor paintjob’ can feature two relevant projects. These various categories have unique icons that display if a category is selected. So for instance, checking ‘indoor paintjob’ leads to the relevant icon being displayed in the frame on the gallery page. How to integrate this in the easiest/most efficient way is up to the developer. For instance: While adding a project back-end, add an extra ‘feature on page’ function that allows you to select a page on which it is displayed. Any other solution that might be easier/quicker while still being user-friendly in the back-end is welcomed.   If the cooperation on both ends goes well we will start developing our own website immediately after this project.
