Hi, I read your description and excel sheet. I cannot understand why "new folder" files are there. If I am given a chance to work on this, I will use custom MVC in php. I don't think wordpress will be the most suitable platform for this application. I did check the application flow that you've described with attention to detail in that Excel Sheet. And the hierarchy of a product being listed and then how the product would have Sub-Assembly. There could be n number of levels of Sub-Assemblies; that can be created by agents. I find this exact piece of functionality interesting enough for bidding on this project. So now you can be sure that I just didn't copy-pasted proposal like most other agencies or freelancers. Coming to the overview, I understood and highly agree to your idea of developing an MVP solution for your vision. This is the best way to go about such projects. Infact, it might help this project that I have been involved in multiple such Proof-of-Concepts, MVP oriented projects. Many out of which turned out be successful and are now live projects. Hi there, First thing first, do not go for Wordpress if you are spending $3K and are serious are about what you are doing. Now that I have your attention, I would really like to discuss the project :) So, what you are trying to build is basically a Business to Business platform, with minimal access to clients. So we can think of it as a B2B-B2C integrated solution. I checked your Excel file and it was very thorough and the flow makes perfect sense. However, there are a few things which I believe you could improve in the flow (for better user experience). I also checked the HTML files you added, and I have to say this is a very nice basic prototype to get the idea across. I fully understand what you want and can recommend you a few technologies that we can use for the MVP. What I really want to do, though, is architect and build the MVP so that we can add on top of it when the time comes. This means writing highly modulear, scalable code from the get go, while keeping it lean. We will stick to the core features for this project, get those developed with an Agile approach(TDD) and once you're happy and have a fully working system, adding on top of it will be a steady work, rather than rebuilding the whole thing.
