in addition following features can also be added ( if required ) - automated load i.e admin can schedule an upload by providing source location ( of the excel files) and time of execution ( also can set daily at certain time ) as per required - keep logs/statistics of the loaded data - backup/restore feature (in case if excel files contains incorrect data and it gets loaded to the database, the database can be restored to the pre-load state) - automatic email to appropriate persons regarding the details/logs/summary of the load

I am only just getting started in Freelancer.com and feel this is an easy project to complete. I have an extensive programming background since 1993 using Python, Ruby, C, C++, Assembler, Java and SQL. I have written several Excel to SQL and SQL to Excel projects before. I did this before. No need to write any tool for this. SQL already provides DTH packages which can do this.
