Project Summary: Migrate WordPress website to new theme. All existing pages, URLs, content, and images will remain the same – page-‐to-‐page migration. The current site is running WP 4.3.2. The new site/theme needs to be updated to the newest version of WP. Old theme: [login to view URL]‐pro-‐real-‐estate-‐2-‐wordpress-‐ theme/133791 New theme: [login to view URL]‐pro-‐real-‐estate-‐7-‐responsive-‐wordpress-‐ theme/12473778 New theme documentation: [login to view URL]‐real-‐estate-‐ 7/documentation/ & instructions on creating child theme: [login to view URL]‐real-‐estate-‐7/documentation/#childthemes New Theme Specs / Requirements Child Theme – All customizations required to deliver a final product/launch need to be done in a child theme. All old theme modifications that are required on the new site should be migrated into the new theme’s child theme. No frontend Management required (part of new theme) Booking System not required – will not be used. (part of new theme) Design – There will be very minimal custom design/CSS involved. The new theme should set the look and feel for the entire site. Some pages will require images to be adjusted to fit new layouts. Developers not required to design/layout the homepage. Salesforce Integration – “Request More Details” and “Ask a Question” widgets with Web form code currently sends the form content to the Salesforce API, and includes all the custom fields from the referring page in the form contents that are sent to the API. This functionality needs to be migrated to the new site. Social Share buttons – the new theme provides the social share buttons on single listing pages and blog posts, but they do not include “Like” and Retweet type buttons. Those also need to be incorporated into the page. Listing mapping – the theme provides the functionality, and the client will be updating Listing custom posts with longitude & latitude coordinates, but we will need to test on a few. No IDX plugin will be used, or needed. (part of new theme)
