Hello. I am expert in PLC/SCADA. I have lot of experiences in automation of Siemens. What type of Siemens PLC do you use? WinCC is SCADA software of Siemens, it support MSSQL/logging/report,. If you can use WinCC, it take less time. If not, I can develop a program to communicate to PLC, logging data, reporting. Could we discuss more. Thanks.

We have a S7 driver for Siemens PLC for MS Visual basic. Also it can deposit data into a MS SQL Server database. There is a front end already built for trending, reporting, data analytics etc. Unlimited tags, PLCs & clients supported.

I developed a web based MES (manufacturing execution system) which does exactly what you need - it collect the data from Siemens PLCs, stores it in MS SQL database and displays real-time and archived production indicators at a web page. The MES system is built on free components only - no extra cost for server software and unlimited number of clients for free. i am a Software Engineer from Venezuela. ,I have developed several apps in several plataforms with Robust Database and large data! I have worked with java, javascript, php, web server. I appoint to quality, robust, friendly and agile apps. I do enphasis to reports because they are the result of the consolidate information. I have worked with RS232 protocol to access devices with rfih,, i had accessed HSM (hardware security module) to encryption data to preperson chips using java and just now i am implementing the Modbus application protocol under TCP/Ip, rS232,RS485 protocols to provide client/server communication between Modbus devices connected on different types of buses or networks. I am a JasperReport expert so we can togherer develop reports with statistics and graphs. About your requeriments i have detected several process to develop: 1.- Determine the Siemens PLC model and interface communication, Verify if there is a documentation about tprotocols and how connect and acces it 2.- Implement the communication protocol between PCL and software (Computer) 3.- Determinate the variables to access and the memory locations in the PLC 4.- Design and create the database structures 5.- Implement the software to access the PLC, get the data and save them it the Database 6.- Testing Phase 7.- Develop Reports according your requeriments I estimed 30 days to ensure a good result and quality but it can vary since i really do not know the PLC properties..
