Rails 3 Developer (Conversion to Rails 3 and Heroku Setup)

THIS PROJECT IS FOR PHASE 1 ONLY. FOR A SKILLED WORKER, PHASE 2 WILL BE AVAILABLE AS WELL. Phase 1: Starting with [login to view URL] as a basic app, I need you to finish converting it to Rails 3 (e.g. fix deprecation errors etc) and get it running on Heroku. A basic demo is online at http://minimfb.heroku.com. During this phase, I'd like to write any relevant documentation as far as setting up the app goes. I don't need extreme detail but I would like to know the ideal process for setting up a local version, recommendations for deployment etc. Phase 2: Adding modules as helpers (interface with the Facebook Graph API, data download, keyword density, popular word search, etc). I have some sample PHP code for some of the additional modules as well as longer descriptions. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). 2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Employer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Employer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the employer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this project. ## Platform I'd like instructions for setting up the local version on Mac OSX (I've got it going but would like some basic documentation written). Deployment will be on Heroku.
