We have several sites on hand that need some 301's. Some of them are just a few pages, while others are carts that already being rewritten being replaced by carts who also have rewrites in the new htaccess file.
I figured the best way to go about the larger one is to to use .htaccess to rewrite the pages to a script that will perform the 301 redirect. Not only does it save a ton of time in doing the 301s, it also saves space since every pageview doesn't have to load a huge
.htaccess file.
like i said, there are several on hand that need to be done, off the hop there are 3 or 4 and a few more lining up as projects creap closer to completion.
It would be nice to have someone who we can rely on and make part of our 'team' for future work.
thanks and speak soon

guess an example of some of the work would help eh?
ok, for example...
one of the sites are now ...
a cart system that is using rewrite in the htaccess to spit out html exstension, the new cart, in a seperate directory(for now) also has rewrites in the htaccess to spit out html extensions
