Audit Automation System

We, a group of Chartered Accountants, are working on developing a system to automate some of the tasks performed by our staff in conducting accounting audits for SMEs. Our clients track their day-to-day transactions on Tally and every month / quarter / year, they deliver the data files from Tally to us, which we process at our end to compute their tax dues and file returns, among other things. We are working on building a software that would import data from Tally and present it in an auditor-friendly format to help us audit the accounts quickly. This system has been built using VB.NET with MySQL at the backend. We are looking to outsource development of the following modules: 1. GST Audit - Check for any discrepancies in the previous month closing balances in Tally and allow the user to select whether the discrepancy has GST impact or not. 2. Reports for Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss account (The data in the required level of granularity is already available in the database, need help only with the Report UI). 3. Partner accounts : Import vouchers from Tally for transactions related to Partner's accounts, classify the transactions and produce Summary and Detailed reports. Detailed requirement definition for these features in underway and can be shared once the freelancer is shortlisted.
