The objective: See the attached 3D gray level picture. It contains two images: Person (Left image) and buildings (Right image). Your objective is to create a picture of the same quality as the Person picture (smooth with shadows and light source.). The Picture on the right is a 3D dots picture. It holds only dots in the 3D space. Your mission is to convert the dot picture (the XYZ) into a picture of the same quality as the person picture. We need you to deliver a running Matlab source code that will perform a nice Matlab GUI. The Matlab GUI will convert a 4 columns table into 3D color IMAGE in an informative and self-explaining way (Viewer). The viewer will receive as input two type of tables: Original and Transformed Tables. The two tables structures will be the same. The only difference between them will be their cell values (their table contents). Table structure: Each table will have 5 columns: Column A: X coordinate Column B: Y coordinate Column C: Z coordinate Column D: C Gray level The viewer will display two 3D pictures side by side (shadows, lighting and smoothe surface images displaying) where picture A will show the original Table content, and Picture B will show the Transformed table content. The Pictures structure is defined below: The X, Y, Z will set each point position in the 3D picture (X, Y, Z are column A, B, C). Each point color in the 3D image will be proportional to the given columnD To improve Viewer visualization, a light source will be added to the two images to create shadows effects. In order to create a smooth image, you will have to add dots between the given XYZ dots (interpolation). The viewer GUI will have the following sliders: 1. Light source direction 2. Point of view (instead of slider mouse drag is allowed). you will create a Matlab function that will receive: XYZ array, C color vector (the same length as the XYZ array. Light source position coordinate. Light intensity Viewer position coordinate. You can find an example an [login to view URL] file ant its Color level in the [login to view URL] file.
