We already have a website and a Wordpress Blog up and running, so we're not talking about major design work here:

Right now we are in the process of upgrading our wordpress blog to the latest version, and as a result our blog is currently down.
Once this process is complete we want to better integrate the blog with our main site.
This means we want to create similar style sheets on both the blog and main site so that users do not feel like they are moving between two different sites.
Beyond improving the consistency between the main site and the blog we are aiming for a more professional look at both.
Users should still know when they are at the main site vs. the blog, but perhaps this would be accomplished through a slight shift in the shading of style colors and/or banner vs. what is currently a completely different look and feel.
The main site should be built such that the latest articles on the blog automatically appear on the main site (you'll notice that we are currently entering this manually under Recent Commentaries).
Our email list sign up should also be featured prominent.
We would also maybe want to think about adding in some space on the side for testimonials and other miscellaneous (e.g. sponsor company advertisement banners).
Another idea would be to expand the banner/logo area so that there is enough room to insert testimonials and/or famous quotes that change randomly as pages are refreshed.
One idea that we also think might be interesting is to have two layers of headings throughout the blog and main site. In other words, one set of headings for categories of the main site (i.e. Home, About Us, Company Index, etc.) and one for categories of the blog (e.g. Recent Comments) to allow for more seamless navigation between the two. This approach might end up being too clunky, so use your judgment.
We already have a logo, but we seem to have lost the high definition Photoshop file. Therefore we were hoping our logo could be improved upon. I've attached two logo images, which are slightly different takes on the same theme. Beyond improving the logo, we would like it integrated into the Wordpress theme.
This should be a fairly quick and simple job. Hopefully our Wordpress blog will be up and running within the next 24 hours so it is easier to anticipate what we're looking for.

Here is a summary of the project then:
(1) Restyle website w/ professional look using CSS, in Wordpress.
(2) Basic redesign main page, info pages and subscription pages.
(3) Change Company index page to run from Wordpress including tool/plugin for entering and editing data.
(4) Add 2 news pages (Company News and Editorial News) to be fed from Wordpress, with search and sort functionality on page.
(5) Add tool/plugin for entering and editing news articles including name, symbol, title, hyperlink, data, excerpt, commentary.
(6) Add tool to post news excerpt automatically to Twitter.
(7) Add feeds from Wordpress to main page (recent posts, recent news, etc.) and to news pages.
(8) Redesign Metal Augmentor logo.
(9) Design Favicon.
(10) SEO and other fixes as needed.
