Project is made by groups. Each group is formed by 4 students. The main objective of the project is to create a Web presentation of the selected region by the usage of WCMS Wordpress. This presentation should assist to selected region in its presentation and to attract new customers to this area. Each group will prepare opening study of the project and also final documentation by the schedule. You will have to install and manage your web project in the DIT server!!! ([login to view URL]). You will obtain your account name and password during the semester. Project in microscope The project aims to create a modern web presentation of the selected region. The focus of presentation must support local regional development objectives and be consistent with the Regional Development Strategy of EU. Another goals of a website is to increase the attractiveness of a selected region as a tourist destination by using its specific potential, especially the natural and cultural, as well as local products and services and ensuring their effective marketing support for highlighting the uniqueness and comparative advantage of the offer. The project should also be in accordance with the Rural Development Programme EU, which should be particularly encouraged in the following areas: 1st "Growth competitiveness is hampered by the slow transfer of knowledge and innovation (especially in relation to environmetal oriented legislation and usage of information technology)." 2nd "Improving the quality of life in rural areas, strengthen the economic potential and value of natural and rural heritage." 3rd "Quality of life in rural areas and encouraging diversification - to maintain the quality of life and encouraging diversification should be implemented in such priority, aimed at creating new jobs in non-traditional sectors to ensure compensation for expected losses in jobs in agriculture and food sector and improving ruralinfrastructure. " General organizational requirements: Each group selected the region for presentation on its own, the allowable size of the region is the LAU level 2 to LAU level 1 (from the cities to municipal districts). The project's focus on regional development and tourism, it is recommended to use already existing sources of information.
