WPF GUI for Windows Application Needed

Scope: Our current application development to completely revamp an older version of one of our products. GUI development is needed to supplement current application development. The entire project must be delivered including the source code as well as any resources such as graphics. Data abstraction layer and middleware have been completed, but will NOT be provided to the developer. Final code integration will be conducted by our application development team. The GUI developer will provide a standalone application that satisfies the development requirements defined in the details listed below and the user behavior defined in the attached screenshots. Required Skill Sets: 1. Graphics Editor expertise (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite) 2. WPF/ C# expertise a. Namespaces compatible to .Net 3.5 Framework b. Animation c. "Drag&Drop" Functionality d. Dynamic Resizing e. Dynamic Data binding ## Deliverables Description: The project is a Windows 7 Desktop application that holds a collection of apps and launches them. The user will be able to add/move/remove groups, add/move/remove apps, apply user preference settings and apply application settings. Although these functionalities are typical to any application, we are looking for the "wow" factor via graphics and animations. Employer Supplied Code: Although we have a collection of apps, the developer will NOT receive them. However, we will be providing placeholder data via objects that we provide. This placeholder object will hold sample group list each with a sample app list for the developer for WPF data binding. A sample collection will look like the following. 1. Group 1 a. App A1 b. App A2 c. AppA3 2. Group 2 a. App B1 b. App B2 c. App B3 3. Group 3 a. App C1 b. App C2 c. App C3 Project Requirements: 1. 1. The developer and its parties must sign a NDA with our company. 2. 2. All work must be original and cannot be derived from past projects. 3. 3. The entire project including source code and resources must be provided as part of the deliverables. 4. 4. If Visual Studio was used, the solution must be provided as part of the deliverables. 5. 5. Project must be completed on time with our Quality Assurance checklist form filled out. 6. 6. The developer agrees to correct any unforeseen or unexpected GUI related behaviors for 6 months. Project Details: 1. 1. The GUI document reflects the 1st version of our product. This is the 2nd version and with subsequent versions to come. We reserve the right to change the developer upon subsequent versions. 2. 2. Graphics, designs and layout listed in the GUI document are only guidelines. The developer has full discretions on the graphics, design and layout of the GUI. 3. 3. All GUI Elements as listed in the GUI document must be implemented unless explicitly mentioned not to. 4. 4. All GUI Behaviors as listed in the GUI document must be implemented unless explicitly mentioned not to. 5. 5. The developer is highly encouraged to take creative discretion towards the GUI's transitions (WPF animations) between user events. 6. 6. Animations and transitions are not listed in the GUI document. The developer is expected to implement the necessary animations and transitions to provide the user an extremely rich user experience.
