VM Started with an error, and reading online I deleted the snapshot files from snapshot manager, but now wm says it dosent find the vmdk file, I see all the vmdk files but as SEPARSE and FLAT extensions. they are all in the same datastore as they were, according to online reading I only need to rename, to have them boot again.

Following an unscheduled power cut, several vmdk files on my ESXi 6.7 server have had ".lock4" appended to their filenames. As a result the server can no longer see the virtual disks. I have an image from an EC2 instance running Ubuntu 18.04, kernel version 4.15 that was exported to a VMDK in S3. On attempting to import the image back I am getting the following error message: "ClientError: Unsupported kernel version 5.4.0-1080-aws". The kernel version was originally 5.4 and was downgraded to 4.15 before creating the image. Need assistance fixing this issue.

Hello, I imported a VMDK of Windows 10 virtual machine to a new server running on Vmware esXi 6.5. The virtual machine was running on virtualbox so far, I converted the VDI into VMDK. Everything works fine but there is NO INTERNET on the virtual machine. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the ethernet adapter on windows but no luck. I installed Vmware tools but does not help. Error: Ethernet 3 doesn't have a valid IP configuration I hope you can help! Screenshot attached when I try to troubleshoot the ethernet adapter on windows 10. Any suggestion is welcome Thanks
