Looking for solid shader programmer with experience in realtime shaders for ongoing development on various projects - realtime - broadcast graphics non-game related
we use various realtime engines using a number of shader languages on a variety of projects so flexibility and adaptability is essential
due to the fact that the engines we work with cannot be freely distributed we prefer to work with a local developer in house ** Los Angeles, CA ** but can accommodate working remotely if needed via remote desktop etc.
- clean, well documented code is essential
- good communication skills, responsiveness and skype are a requirement

first project: develop realtime Cg shaders - we will provide design / requirements docs as well as code samples for the particular engine we are working with
developer tasked to program new shaders or extend example shaders

first project: add alpha and self illumination map support for attached Cg shader
attached is a simple working Cg shader that we currently use in our realtime engine - the shader supports:
spec, normal, diffuse
we would like to add alpha and self illumination maps
the realtime engine we are using is proprietary and cannot be distributed - testing has to be done by sending us the code - we will test and post a reply with results via screen grabs, movie files - remote desktop access to the engine can also be provided
