Scale of Job: Initial proof of concept app. Purpose of App: An app where people can build surveys, answer surveys, share the data and have social networking Method / Approach: Basic proof of concept. First iteration will ideally app will piggy back on open source content from places like Lime Survey and MeetUp or Facebook to minimise effort to get to release 1. Basic functionality 1. registration - would want to use open source or free way to build this into the app 2. create a survey - LimeSurvey or equivalent build into the app 3. answer a survey - LimeSurvey or equivalent build into the app 4. download survey data - need a cheap and quick way to create a database that can be polled for answers to survey questions (this may also be a part of the LImeSurvey open source data) 5. chat functionality based on 'common' answers to some survey questions - is there an open source chat room functionality to use? registered customers would be able to create chat rooms or contribute to content in chat rooms 6. 'request contact' (people or organisations) can send request to uses based on their survey answers more detail to be given to successful developer.
