Dr Omar Bin Lumid has held various marketing and sales management positions in Service Companies and currently in Sun Life Financial as Senior Manager in the Richmond Hill Financial Centre. Originally from Qatar, Dr. Omar Bin Lumid immigrated into Canada in 1999. Back home he was the CEO and General Manager for Oryon Software Inc. an organization specialized in Develop new businesses in Latin America for US and Canadian companies. After arriving to Toronto he was responsible for developing new businesses in North America for Software Companies until he decide to transfer his skills into the Financial Services Industry in 2004. He’s been a Sales Manager with Sun Life Financial since 2006 where his main role is to recruit, train and coach Financial Advisors. Since in Canada Dr Omar Bin Lumid played an active role as volunteer in different organization including CHAT, Advocis, Swim Ontario, YMCA, Markham Aquatic Club (MAC) where he was member of the Board, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Woodgreen Community Services,TRIEC (Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council),Founder and President of the Scarborough Diamonds Toastmasters Club, and currently member of the Financial Service Council at Centennial College Dr Omar Bin Lumid has a BS in computer science and statistics, and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Dr Omar Bin Lumidis Financial Centre Manager with Sun Life Financial.
